Delaware County Rural healthcare Alliance

The Delaware County Rural Healthcare Alliance brings together health care and health care related organizations to share information, conduct assessments, develop plans and fund projects to address health education and awareness. The Alliance promotes improved access to quality health and wellness services for Delaware County, NY residents.

Delaware County Addiction use Task force coalition

The Task Force is a group of Delaware County community agencies that get together to discuss drug trends, data, steps to reduce drug use, and resources that are available to anyone who uses substances or at risk of using substances. Under this task force are our subcommittees: Data, Prevention, Education, Treatment, and Recovery. Each subcommittee has a slightly different agenda, but all groups work together for the same goal: to reduce substance use and to get those who want or need help, the help they're looking for.

The organization of these programs provide treatment instead of incarceration for non-violent offenses as well as promote long term recovery of addicted parents to ensure safety of the children in families.

The Suicide Prevention Network of Delaware County is a not for profit group established in 2014 to address the high rates of suicide in Delaware County. The network consists of community partners and individuals from human services, mental health, substance abuse agencies, law enforcement, area hospitals, schools and other community based organizations.

The ACEs Taskforce was created to help in developing a trauma-informed community where individuals and families have a supportive environment necessary to build resilience and thrive.
